After a 39 year executive career with Shell, the last 4 of which were building a New Energies business, Mark has hands on experience of almost every lever we need to pull to deliver net zero carbon emissions by 2050. From biofuels to hydrogen, renewable electricity and storage, distributed energy, digital and nature based solutions, we need to accelerate investment and deployment in the coming decade.
 

Since retiring from Shell Mark serves on the boards of several companies developing leading technologies to accelerate the energy transition and a more circular economy. He recently became the chairman of Seatrium, a leader in offshore engineering solutions for cleaner oil and gas and renewables. Supporting the twin goals of Energy Security and Energy Transition, we look forward to Engineering Our Future Together.

Laura brings over 30 years executive and non-executive Board experience across a range of industries in Asia and globally, including leadership roles with energy, consumer goods and professional services companies.
 

With a deep marketing background, Laura can provide advice on how to position low carbon products with business and consumers. Her expertise also includes driving commercial results through business model and cultural change.

Lisa brings over 35 years of experience in executive and board leadership roles in energy, industrial and transportation companies.  

Lisa's successful executive career culminated in joining the board of Siemens, responsible for its Oil & Gas and Power businesses. She has significant experience of renewable power generation, with a particular emphasis on wind.

She is also deeply involved in the development of the hydrogen economy as a current nonexecutive director of Air Products and is a senior advisor to a dedicated hydrogen investment fund.

Lisa also serves on the board of Penske Corporation, a leading US transportation and logistics company.

 Internationally recognised for his work on technologies for the low carbon energy transition, Nigel provides a particular focus on hydrogen and electrochemical devices such as fuel cells, electrolysers and batteries.  He is the founder of two companies in this space. 

Nigel's 40 years of expertise in technology innovation, current and emerging technology trends, and the interface between innovation and commercial opportunity is in high demand.

At Procter & Gamble and Shell, Rahul has led multi-billion dollar businesses as P&L or brand/category head. Rahul is currently Global Head of Brand Strategy and Stewardship for the Shell group, a brand valued at US $50 billion.   

Rahul is a global expert on defining and embedding purpose into organisations, frequently invited to share his thinking and approach in books, international conferences and podcasts. His passion and expertise is in inspiring businesses and leaders to be more purpose-driven, and make a real difference to the people and ecology of the planet.

Patrick brings over 35 years of experience in executive and leadership roles in energy companies. He now runs his own consultancy, Romeo Conseil. He has a deep understanding of the energy system and climate and organisational transformation challenges. 

Patrick specialises in helping organisations maximising value in their journey, and the journey of their customers, to Net-Zero. This involves identification of relevant investments into new products and services, new production capabilities and supply chains, building on the strengths and know-how already available in house, and accessible externally. And requires implementation of good practices in change management to successfully implement plans.

With over 25 years of global leadership, Jan brings strategic oversight, corporate governance, sustainability leadership, financial insights, and deep understanding of nuclear energy transitions, technological innovations, and maritime operations.

Having worked with and now as an advisory board member to Seaborg Technologies, he is at the forefront of developing a 4th generation small modular nuclear power plant. Moreover, Jan’s extensive maritime experience includes significant positions at A.P. Moller Maersk group, where he played a key role in expanding the company's fleet and operations, and later leading Maersk Drilling Asia to become a significant drilling contractor in the region.

Hank has over 35 years of experience working with corporations, environmental organisations, and social justice groups to find common ground in solving problems and moving forward. His work within the forestry, mining, energy, and consumer products sector has routinely examined how a company’s supply chains can be secured and its license to operate strengthened. 

His most recent endeavour was to co-found and lead a social justice organisation that acts as a bridge between companies and investors interested in nature-based solutions to climate change and front-line communities that are seeking investment in return for carbon credits.

Thomas has over 40 years of experience in Global Finance - leading and managing trading, sales and risk management teams in Switzerland, the UK, Asia, and the United States. 

He has spent the last few years engaging with investors and local policy makers in Africa, bringing in major investors who want to gain access to local opportunities across the continent. 

Thomas Is based in New York and wants to bring the global expertise amassed by  LCA to North America where we believe there to be a great demand for timely, concise and honest advice in the decarbonisation and accountability for many financial organisations, asset managers, family offices and local governments.

Alex Brings 45 years’ experience in Brazil and Latin America energy markets.

While a board member at Vibra Energia, he actively participated in the development of the long term decarbonization strategy for the company and oversaw the first steps of its implementation. Previously a liquid fuels distributor affiliated to Petrobras, Vibra became a public corporation in 2019 and it is the largest energy distributor in Brazil. 

Before that, Alex spent 13 years as a business consultant and lecturer, thus further expanding his contacts network within the energy industry.

During his 23 years at Shell, he was the Aviation business leader in South America for 4+ years and Latin America Commercial VP for 5 years.

  Throughout his career spanning the oil, gas, electricity, and water sectors, Peter has been involved in sustainability, from long term scenario planning in Shell, to modelling net-zero futures for clients of the Energy Saving Trust. Peter also worked for several years with PA Consulting with a particular focus on utility customers and now has his own consultancy, Enstra Consulting. 

Peter’s specialises in deploying Pyramid Thinking and Value Mapping to enable the maximisation of value for organisations taking the “Road to Net-Zero”.
